Rock for Dimes! Join me at this fun event June 7th

Who doesn't love a night out listening to great music?

If you could enjoy some rockin' bands enjoy drinks and food AND give back- all for $25,  wouldn’t you want to do go?

That’s why I said YES when I connected with the March of Dimes to help them promote their Rock For Dimes Annual Battle-of-the-Bands event.

Join me June 7th 2012 at the Toronto location of The Hard Rock Café (279 Yonge Street) to hear local bands perform for celebrity judges! All this to raise fund for the March of Dimes and their services and programs helping people with disabilities.

March of Dimes Canada is one of the largest community based service providers for people with physical disabilities in the country. They provide a wide range of programs and services to maximize the independence and community participation of people with physical disabilities.

March of Dimes programs are available to any person with a physical disability who can benefit. This includes:

· People born with physical disabilities (such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, or muscular dystrophy).

· Those who develop it later in life (such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, or post-polio syndrome).

· Those who acquire it through injury or an accident.

· They also offer services to seniors and the medically fragile, as well as services to families, caregivers, employers and health insurance companies.

What to have another reason to want to attend?  Watch this and be inspired- children who have been helped...children just like my Zackie.  I loved that I know 3 of these beautiful children and I've hugged them all...and their mom, Dana.
