Making Memories at Medieval Times

You know those moments when your kids think you are literally the coolest and best mom, EVER?  I just had one of those awesome moments!

I'm thrilled to announce that I've been chosen as a Medieval Times Brand Ambassador with PTPA and that my family gets to attend a special EXCLUSIVE event at the Toronto Castle on December 8th!

Confession time:  I have never been to Medieval Times.  I know, it's shocking, when you think of all the places we have been visiting over the last few years.  However, my hubby has been several times over the years (taking nieces and nephews and then Ty).  I even bought tickets for Paul and Ty the Christmas after the twins were born- I knew how much they needed some one-on-one time.  Their memorable night made me not only realize how much they needed that time together, but also how much I missed out on!  It was like they had this "medieval code" they spoke in for about a full week!  They couldn't stop raving about the horse, the princesses and especially the food!  Eating with your fingers is pretty memorable to a 5 year old!

Years later, my brother-in-law took Ty for his 8th birthday.  What an amazing experience for Ty to attend the castle, older now, seeing it with his new love-for-history eyes.  He talked about the knight for days and days.  He read the program each night and even got books at the library to learn more about those times.  He was forever acting out the black and red knight's fight, with his new sword and shield that were signed by the knights themselves!

How cute is this little Knight (Ty at 5 yrs old)?

I'm so excited to experience this magical event not only for me, but for Jayden!  Now he's 6 and can enjoy the wonder and excitement of the castle, the jousting, the horses and yes, even eating with his hands!

Want to join our family on December 8th?

Disclaimer:  I'm so thrilled to be attending Medieval Times with my boys!  I've been compensated for writing this post, but the truth is....I would have done it for tickets and eating chicken with my fingers!!

  1. This has been on the "to-do" list for at least 3 years.... it's always pushed to the bottom for a million different reasons - timing, money, etc.
If we won, there would be NO excuses!! My son and daughter would LOVE it, and I'm pretty sure their Dad and I would love it just as much :) Charging the camera battery, just in case we win ;)
